VAG is regularly engaged to conduct security based Hazard Identification Workshops (HAZIDs) to assist our clients incorporate security considerations into the concept selection phase of major infrastructure projects. From concept selection forward VAG has assisted clients with the following:
- Security in Design Development - how to build new facilities with security principles as part of the basis of design (BOD).
- Security Management System Development –how to integrate the security of people, assets and information across the entire company.
- Offshore & Onshore Security Risk Assessments – providing a framework where security risk can be quantified and a security business case can be developed.
- Sub Sea and Land Based Pipeline Security Risk Assessments.
- International Ships and Port Security (ISPS) Code compliance management – all Australian Offshore Oil and Gas and Port facilities fall under the ISPS code which is managed under the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act (VAG has managed compliance for more offshore / maritime facilities than any other organisation in Australia).
